Crossgates Pupils Plant 107 Trees

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates P3 and P7 pupils at Crossgates Primary School for their tree-planting efforts at the Taft; understands that, with the help of their parents, grandparents, retired school staff and their teachers, pupils managed to plant 107 trees in total; notes that 59 pupils took part in the activity, as part of their focus on outdoor learning and education; recognises that all those involved thoroughly enjoyed themselves, not least the pupils; thanks the Woodland Trust for its donation of saplings; further thanks the Crossgates Community Woodland and Crossgates Greenfingers for working alongside pupils on the day, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
