10th Anniversary of Ashfest
The motion
That the Scottish Parliament congratulates the organisers and performers of the 10th anniversary of Ashfest Music Festival in Newmains; notes that Ashfest, which is an all-day music extravaganza, will be held on 10 June 2023 in association with Newmains and District Gala Day, showcasing over 10 local groups and artists; believes that the festival encourages and empowers anyone to share their musical talents on stage; commends the hard work of Philip Drowles Music and all the volunteers who work tirelessly to stage the festival and to make it a success, and wishes all involved with the Ashfest and Newmains Gala Day all the best for the future.
