Falkirk East Schools Reach Final of Central Regional Scottish Primary Schools Glee Challenge 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates schools from the Falkirk East constituency, on securing their place in the Central Regional Scottish Primary Schools Glee Challenge Finals 2023; recognises that Bowhouse Primary, Westquarter Primary and Wallacestone Primary were the heat winners within their individual sectionals; notes that alongside the heat winners, California Primary, Shieldhill Primary, Moray Primary and Maddiston Primary also qualified from their sectionals to make the final; understands that the Central Regional Final will be held in Stirling at the Albert Halls on 12 May 2023, with the winners from the regional final going on to compete in the national final, which will be held in Dundee in June 2023; commends the Frisson Foundation for its organisation of this event, which, it understands, represents Scotland’s largest and most inclusive school singing and choir initiative, providing opportunities to school children, which allow them to increase their confidence and realise their potential through music; congratulates the primary schools from Falkirk East that secured their place in the Central Regional final, and wishes them all the best for the competition and the future.
