Lanarkshire Retailers Offering 1p Bundles to Support Families During the Cost of Living Crisis

The motion

That the Parliament commends the efforts of Lanarkshire retailers across Hamilton in offering customers weekly 1p bundles, throughout May 2023, to support families amid the current cost of living crisis; understands that the penny bundles include essential food and household items; acknowledges that the promotion is in partnership with Snappy Shopping; thanks Costcutter Cadzow Bridge, Jack's of Blantyre, Agnew's Family Shopper, Day-Today High Blantyre, Family Choice Hamilton, Day-Today Whitehill Stores and Premier Shabir Convenience Store for taking part, and applauds all organisations involved for their proactive efforts to help alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by many families, and for what it sees as the positive impact that they are making in their community.
