Jenna Walsh Awarded Scholarship from Shell UK

That the Parliament congratulates Jenna Walsh, from Lochgelly, on being one of five pupils to be awarded a prestigious scholarship from Shell UK; notes that Jenna is one of five pupils undertaking Shell UK's Girls in Energy course at Fife College; understands that the scholarship provides financial support from Shell UK to directly support Jenna and others in their studies; further understands that Jenna will use this scholarship to progress her education and for supplies for university; understands that Jenna hopes to become an engineer, and is now one step closer to achieving that; recognises that the Shell UK Girls in Energy course offers pupils a unique insight into the energy industry, as well as enhancing key employability skills; further recognises that the course is part of a wider range of initiatives that Shell UK and Fife College are working on together to help reduce the gender imbalance in STEM-related subjects, and to support and encourage more people, particularly girls, into the energy industry; thanks Shell UK for the work that it is doing, and wishes Jenna all the very best in her future studies.
