Castlebrae High School Raises Funds for Pupil Diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma Cancer

The motion

That the Parliament commends the stellar fundraising efforts of Castlebrae High School pupils, who have raised over £9,000 for a fellow pupil who was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma cancer; understands that, following their "Santa dash" fundraising event in December 2022, pupils cycled a total of 21 miles from Castlebrae High School to North Queensferry in April 2023, which involved crossing the Forth Road Bridge; further understands that the funds will be used as a donation to the cancer ward that is currently supporting the pupil and their family, and understands that it is also hoped that the funds will provide the pupil's family with financial support.
