Clydebank Football Club U18s Win Scottish Cup

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Clydebank Football Club U18s 2005 Group on winning the 2023 Scottish Cup; understands that the team won 2-0 over rivals, Hillwood, at the Airdrie Excelsior Stadium; notes that first-half goals came from Iain Begg and Callum Dymock to clinch the title; understands that team manager, Stephen Murray, was delighted with the team's performance throughout the season, displaying determination, dedication and hard work; appreciates the benefits of playing football, which, it believes, increases stamina, improves cardiovascular health, reduces body fat and improves muscle strength and tone, and wishes the team every success for the season ahead.
