Congratulating East Kilbride's GavHas Services, Winner of Scotland Excel's Workforce Development Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the team at GavHas Services, of East Kilbride, on winning the Workforce Development Award at the recent Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards 2023; notes that the property management firm manages temporary accommodation for Scottish councils, cleaning and sanitising properties and common areas of closes and shared gardens, as well as supporting the provision of the Scottish Welfare Fund to councils, delivering furniture and providing and installing carpets and blinds to eligible tenants; further notes that the team has grown from two to 25 employees in its three-year history, becoming the 10th accredited Living Hours Employer in Scotland in 2022, demonstrating its commitment to strong standards on fair work, and wishes the entire team all the very best for the future.
