Ayr Primary Schools Career Fair 2023

The motion

That the Parliament commends Ayr Rotary Club on the success of its recent Ayr Primary Schools Careers Fair, which took place on 11 May 2023 at Ayr Town Hall; understands that it was the first Careers Fair of its kind, organised by the Ayr Rotary Club, to be held locally; notes that 32 stalls were featured, allowing the 200 P7 pupils present to find out about future careers in a variety of sectors, such as aircraft maintenance, dentistry, hairdressing and football; believes that the Ayr Primary Schools Career Fair is an excellent initiative, which provides a great opportunity for pupils and parents to discover lots of diverse career pathways, and thanks Ayr Rotary Club, the exhibitors, schools and all involved, who helped make the fair a resounding success.
