Ayrshire’s Under-17 Netball Squad Picks Up Silver at 2023 Finals

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the under-17 Ayrshire District Netball Squad on winning silver at the National District Finals 2023; notes that the finals took place on 29 April 2023 at Edinburgh University Pleasance; understands that this was a historic moment, as it became the first Ayrshire side to make the final, competing for Best District Side in Scotland; further understands that, during the season, the team was defeated only once; understands that, now that the team has completed its season, everyone is looking forward to next season as they begin trials for the under-15 and under-17 levels, and look to introduce a new under-19 side; applauds the team for its efforts, and wishes it all the best in its future endeavours.
