Heriot-Watt Students, Staff and Graduates Reach the Semi-finals of the Converge Challenge

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the seven projects from Heriot-Watt students, staff and graduates who have made it through to the semi-finals of the 2023 Converge Challenge; understands that the Converge Challenge is a programme, which helps universities to turn creativity, business ideas, and innovations into commercial reality by offering support and funding opportunities, and welcomes the fact that this success mirrors data released in May 2023 by Beauhurst that shows Edinburgh is the top start-up hub outside London.
