Flourishing Faifley Establish Men’s Group in Clydebank

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the establishment of a Flourishing Faifley Men’s Group in Clydebank; understands that the new Men’s Group is open to all men over the age of 18, with the aim of promoting positive mental health and wellbeing through meet-ups, new friendships, opportunities to learn new skills, and outdoor group activities, such as fishing, hillwalking and football; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of talking about men’s mental health as it believes that stigmas and stereotypes can often result in men not discussing these issues; notes that the first session is being held on 25  May 2023, allowing members to meet each other and get comfortable, and looks forward to seeing the success of this brilliant initiative.
