Amina Muslim Women’s Resource Centre Celebrates 25-year Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Amina Muslim Women’s Resource Centre on celebrating its 25th anniversary; understands that the organisation supports, empowers, and improves the lives of Muslim and BME women living in Scotland; considers that the various teams within Amina work hard to raise awareness of violence against women and girls; understands that the organisation supports employability, financial inclusion, and creative wellbeing; further understands that Amina offers emergency helpline services, which, it believes, can act as an important lifeline to vulnerable people, and wishes the Amina team every success for the future as it continues what it sees as its important work.
