Glasgow to Host Interpol General Assembly 2024
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the announcement that Glasgow is to host the 92nd Interpol General Assembly in November 2024, at the Scottish Event Campus; understands that the Assembly will bring together over 1,000 senior delegates, including heads of police, government ministers, officials and senior Interpol leadership from 195 member countries; appreciates the importance of hosting what it sees as such an important conference, and considers that it cements Glasgow’s reputation for hosting large, international events.
