First Cohort of AWS re/Start Graduates in Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the graduating class of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) re/Start programme at Dundee and Angus College; notes that this is the first cohort of AWS re/Start learners to complete the programme in Scotland; understands that the AWS re/Start programme enables participants to develop skills in cloud computing, as well as communication and interview skills; congratulates Dundee and Angus College and AWS on their successful partnership working; considers that Scotland currently has a digital skills gap; believes that similarly innovative partnerships are needed to address the skills gap and facilitate retraining, and considers retraining to be particularly important in sectors impacted by technology transitions.
