Praising Staff at the Vale of Leven Hospital Out-of-hours Department

That the Parliament commends the efforts of the staff at the Vale of Leven Hospital; understands that they treated over 7,500 people at the out-of-hours unit over a 12-month period; further understands that 7,637 patients attended the unit between March 2022 and February 2023 and that a quarter of all patients self-presented at the GP out-of-hours unit; understands that the facility had previously experienced problems with staffing but that, since the full evening, overnight and weekend service was reinstated in February 2021, there have been no gaps in the service, and thanks the staff for all of the work they do to support people in the community of Dumbarton, Alexandria, Balloch, Helensburgh and Lomond.
