Teapot Trust

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Teapot Trust and East Lothian-based garden designers, Semple Begg, alongside sponsors Project Giving Back, on their outstanding success at this year’s Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show, where judges awarded their Elsewhere Garden a gold medal in the All About Plants Gardens category; believes that this is very well-deserved recognition for the garden, which is intended to illustrate a child’s imagination during art therapy; understands that the garden includes hints of Willy Wonka’s factory, Oz, Alice’s Wonderland, as well as children’s artwork, kinetic water sculptures and sound art, and looks forward to the garden moving to its permanent home at Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children.
