Banff-based John Stewart Butchers Wins at the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates John Stewart Butchers on its outstanding achievement in winning the Diamond Award in the Specialist Burger Category at the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards; understands that the butcher’s Nacho Cheeseburger triumphed over more than 160 contenders; further understands that the creation impressed the judging panel as the unequivocal winner; notes that the Nacho Cheeseburger, a novel creation developed by the butcher’s in-house team, showcases its dedication to innovation; further notes that, under the ownership of Andy Grant for the past seven years, the business has garnered numerous awards for its products, shining a national spotlight on the local area of Banff, and that this was the third diamond award since taking over the business, and wishes continued success for the business.
