Martina Johnston-Gray Recognised at BWC Glasgow Circle of Inspiration Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Martina Johnston-Gray, of North West Glasgow Voluntary Sector Network, on winning the Women in Charity award at the BWC Glasgow Circle of Inspiration Awards; notes what it considers to be the invaluable work that Martina does supporting third sector organisations in the North West of Glasgow on a daily basis, of which many provide essential and vital services to those who live locally; further notes the work Martina leads on in relation to digital inclusion through the network’s IT recycling project, providing PCs, laptops, tablets and Wi-Fi to those who do not currently have access; understands that the network launched the project in May 2020 in the middle of, and in response to, the COVID-19 pandemic and that it has recently celebrated giving out its 1,000th refurbished device; commends the work of Martina, and wishes her every success for the future.
