McCaskie’s Butchers and Café are Scottish Craft Butcher Awards Champions

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates McCaskie’s Butchers and Café on being named Scottish Butcher’s of the Year at the Scottish Craft Butcher Awards after impressing judges with its outstanding leadership and innovation; notes that McCaskie’s was also announced as overall winner of Butcher’s Shop; understands that the Wemyss Bay butchers booked its place in the final after initially being named best in Scotland and saw off strong competition from businesses in Fife, Dundee, South Lanarkshire and Dumfries to be crowned the best in the UK; applauds owner, Nigel Ovens, and his team at McCaskie’s on their continued success, and wishes the company all the best for the future as they continue to deliver award-winning, high-quality products for customers to enjoy.
