Congratulating EATS Rosyth on Opening its New Community Hub
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates EATS Rosyth staff and volunteers on the opening of their new community hub in the former Clydsdale Bank, in the centre of Rosyth, on the 30 May 2023; recognises that the opening day was a resounding success for all those involved in the project; thanks Liam Walker, community piper, and GC Events for providing support for the opening of the hub; notes that the move to the bigger premises allows for the organisation to offer more services in the Rosyth area, acting as a hub for the EATS Rosyth activity and a community space; understands that the hub includes a new café, called The Living Room Café, which aims to become Rosyth's new living room; recognises that the cafe has been designed in the form of a living room, with a cosy, homely feeling, offering light brunch options with seasonal soups and specials daily; further recognises the hard work and dedication of both staff and volunteers throughout this process, and wishes them all the very best in their new premises.
