Gavin’s Mill in Milngavie Shortlisted for Hidden Gem Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Gavin's Mill, in Milngavie, on being shortlisted for the Hidden Gem Award at the Scotsman’s Scran Awards; understands that Gavin’s Mill is a historic old mill, beside Allander Water, housing a shop that sells Fair Trade, zero-waste and ethically-sourced products and a cosy café providing freshly prepared, vegetarian food with vegan and gluten-free options, prepared by volunteers; notes that the awards ceremony will take place on 19 June 2023, in Glasgow, with the aim of celebrating the individuals, establishments and products that make the Scottish food and drink sector what it is, and wishes Gavin’s Mill the best of luck for the competition.
