Congratulating EK82 Handball Club on Winning the Girls 2010/2011 Scottish Handball Association Cup Final

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates East Kilbride 82 Handball Club on winning the Girls 2010/2011 Scottish Handball Association Cup Final; understands that this is the first time that the U12s team has competed in the tournament’s newly-formed age category; congratulates EK82’s 2008/2009 girls, who placed as runners-up in their category, achieving silver medals; recognises the achievements of both teams; further recognises that the club is entirely self-funded, with all coaching staff giving their time voluntarily; notes that the club exists wholly on the efforts of a fundraising committee of parents; commends the successes of all involved, and wishes EK82 all the very best for the future.
