Jemma Thomas Shortlisted for Champion Teacher of the Year 2023

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Jemma Thomas, teacher at Crossgates Primary School, on being shortlisted as Champion Teacher of the Year 2023 in the Dunfermline Press and Central Fife Times Community Champions Awards; understands that the competition was highly contested for all award categories, including this one, which made it even more difficult for the expert judging panel; notes that the aim of the awards is to reward and celebrate the people who make communities a better place; understands that these are the first awards since the COVID-19 pandemic, and that they have been sorely missed by all; notes that the Community Champions awards night will take place at the Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline, on 15 June 2023, and wishes Jemma all the very best on the night.
