Commending the "Weans" of Rannoch Drive for Goalpost Fundraising

The motion

That the Parliament commends the "weans" of Rannoch Drive, Wishaw, for their fundraising events to purchase goalposts to allow them to play safely on a local community grassed area; understands that they have been washing cars in their scheme to raise the funds; further understands that Inspired Events has since donated the goalposts after witnessing the children’s hard work and determination; notes that scientific evidence shows that playing outside improves health, wellbeing and builds friendships; thanks Liam Hill from Inspired Events for the kind donation, and wishes the "weans" of Rannoch Drive all the best.
