Congratulating Laura Young on Being Recognised as a Community Champion in Health

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lorna Young on being recognised as a Community Champion in Health; understands that Lorna Young set up the Teapot Trust with her husband in 2010 to supply art therapy to chronically ill children in the Lothian region; further understands that, during her time as chief executive of the organisation, she volunteered full time for over 12 years to support children with illnesses such as Lupus and other autoimmune illnesses; understands that the Teapot Trust has supported over 16,000 children across 12 hospitals in the UK, and thanks Lorna for her work supporting chronically ill children.
