Father Krzystof Garwolinski, 25 Years of Service to the Church

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the 25th anniversary of the ordination of Father Krzysztof Garwolinski, parish priest of St Patrick’s Church, Shieldmuir; understands that Father Krzystof was born on 3 July 1973 in Garwolin, Poland, studied at John Paul II Seminary in Siedlce, graduated with a Masters in Theology and was ordained to the Sacramental Priesthood; further understands that Father Krzysztof was school chaplin and a teacher of religious education at Wisznice High School, before graduating once again in 2006 with a Master of Arts degree and moving to Motherwell Cathedral, as Motherwell Diocesan Polish Chaplain; notes that he was Cardinal Newman High School’s chaplin, before serving as parish priest at St Patrick’s in Sheildmuir and St Thomas’ Wishaw in 2015; thanks Father Krzystof for this dedication and hard work, not only in supporting his parishioners, but also the community of Wishaw and Motherwell, and wishes Father Krzystof all the best for the future.
