The motion
That the Parliament commends the organisers of the Aboyne Highland Games for encouraging more females to participate in the Games by splitting mixed gendered events into separate categories, with the introduction of four female-only athletic events; notes that the 100 yards race, 220 yards race, 440 yards race, and the high jump will be split into female and male categories for the first time, helping, it understands, to create an inclusive and empowering Games and to inspire more women to take part, and further notes that the Aboyne Highland Games will be held on 5 August 2023 for its 156th year, and wishes them a successful day.
