Final Act of Friends of Huntly Day Care for the Elderly

The motion

That the Parliament commends the donation of £1,000 from the Friends of Huntly Day Care for the Elderly to Huntly Community Minibus and Friends of the Jubilee Hospital; understands that Friends of Huntly Day Care for the Elderly has ended after 30 years of caring and entertaining the elderly of Huntly; further understands that the charity provided activities, outings and company to the centre’s members, which was often the highlight of the week for those who attended, and was hugely appreciated by their families; notes the contribution that the day care service has made to the community, and applauds its final contribution to benefit two excellent organisations in Huntly.
