New College Lanarkshire Scoops Top Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates New College Lanarkshire's music industries and performing arts and supported learning departments, which scooped top awards at The Herald Higher Education Awards; understands that the college's music industries and performing arts department won Outstanding Business Engagement in Colleges, and that its supported learning department's The Braw Wee Shop was commended in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion category; notes that the awards celebrate the extraordinary achievements of universities and colleges across Scotland, highlighting the innovation in teaching, exploring how colleges and universities market themselves, support students and engage with employers, as well as recognising those amazing students who make a significant contribution to student life, as well as academia; thanks everyone involved across the college, and wishes everyone a restful and safe break in the coming weeks.
