Kayden Croken Makes it to the Scottish Singles Bowls Championship

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kayden Croken on making it to the Scottish Singles Bowls Championship, which will be held in Northfield in July 2023; understands that Kayden, a Wishaw Bowling Club member, took the Lanarkshire Champion Title, after taking the Lanarkshire District; celebrates what it sees as Kayden's excellent progression, having joined the club at the age of seven after a chance encounter with local bowler, Robert McAllister, while booking his papa’s birthday party; understands that Kayden competed in 2022 at Northfield in the triples bowling competition; further understands that Scottish bowlers developed flat greens and drew up rules in the mid-19th century, which remain relatively unchanged to this date; thanks Robert McAllister for encouraging the younger generation to participate in and take up bowling, and wishes Kayden and all the other bowlers all the best at the Scottish Championships.
