Firefighters Take on the Three Peaks Challenge

The motion

That the Parliament commends Motherwell firefighters for their fundraising activities for The Fire Fighters Charity; understands that Robert Cowie, Danny Campbell, Shaun Massie, James White and Johnny Orr will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge; further understands that Robert, who has Crohn’s Disease, will be taking on the challenge in full firefighting kit; acknowledges that The Fire Fighters Charity assists firefighters and their families during challenging times and supported Robert after his diagnosis; notes that 2023 is the 80th anniversary of the charity, which, it understands, was founded on a £24 donation, and wishes all firefighters across Scotland all the best on their fundraising and celebrations over the coming months.
