Spit it Out Festival 2023

That the Parliament welcomes the Spit it Out Festival 2023, which will take place from 16 to 25 June 2023 in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and online; understands that Spit it Out is an Edinburgh-based SCIO that is dedicated to opening conversations around consent, mental health, and healing through creativity, accountability, and community care; notes that Spit it Out aims to create a support network for people who have endured trauma and mental health challenges by following an intersectional, transformative justice practice; acknowledges that the aim of the Spit it Out Festival 2023 is to bring people together to connect, practise their self-expression, and share their experiences through a diverse mix of creative activities ranging from skateboarding to photography, embroidery to dance, and art exhibitions to concerts; commends Spit it Out for its work, and wishes it and all volunteers the best of luck with the festival.
