Alexander's Bar Dominos Club in Clydebank Wins the Clydebank and District Dominos League

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Alexander's Bar Dominos Club in Clydebank on winning the Clydebank and District Dominos League for the first time; understands that the pub introduced the tile-based game five years ago because business was slow and it wanted to attract people to the premises, as well as tackle social isolation in the area; notes that the regional dominos competition takes place every Wednesday night, with at least 10 players from seven pubs in the area competing each evening; believes that the win is a remarkable turnaround for the group, as it experienced two rock-bottom finishes in its first four attempts at the league, and applauds all of the players for this achievement.
