Lanarkshire Pupils Win Big at Young Musician Event

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lanarkshire school pupils on impressing judges at a young musician event; praises Chryston High School pupil, Angus Ritchie, for being crowned North Lanarkshire Young Solo Performer of the Year 2023; notes that the 16-year-old was praised by the judges for his remarkable skills, and that his performance was nothing short of amazing; congratulates St Maurice’s High School pupil, 16-year-old Gerard O’Neil, on earning the runner-up spot with his captivating saxophone performance, while 12-year-old Coltness High School pupil, Kurtis Fang, took third place, and understands that these pupils were among 31 participants from across Scotland.
