Bluebird Wins the Latimer Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Ryan Pollock, from Netherton, Wishaw, on winning the coveted Latimer Award at the 197th Annual Art Exhibition; understands that his film, Bluebird, was selected to be showcased at the Scottish National Gallery, Scotland’s longest and largest running contemporary art exhibition; notes that Ryan centred his film around Mick, a litter picker from the Gowkthrapple estate, and the challenges he faces; understands that Bluebird has been nominated for Best Short Film at the Film The House Awards, a competition run by MPs to find film makers of the future, and wishes Ryan all the best for the future.
