Kirkcaldy Firm Raises Thousands for Fife Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Smith Anderson Group, based in Kirkcaldy, on its fundraising for Fife Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre; recognises that the company has supported the charity for several years; understands that employees organised a "Kitchen Table Day" and took part in an abseil from the Falkirk Wheel, raising a total of £4,248; further understands that the money raised has a significant positive impact on cancer patients, and their families and friends, by providing funding to recruit psychologists and specialists, and welcomes the positive relationship between the Smith Anderson Group and Fife Maggie’s Centre.
