Tommy McLean Stand

The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges the official opening of the Tommy McLean Stand, in honour the Motherwell FC football hero; understands that the south stand was renamed during the team's final Premiership game of the season to commemorate the contribution that Tommy McLean made to the club during his career; notes that Tommy guided the Motherwell team to victory against his brother Jim’s Dundee United FC at the 1991 Scottish Cup; thanks everyone involved in the renaming of the stand, and wishes Motherwell FC and the Well Society all the best for the coming season.
