Kindness from Craigie School Pupils, as it Introduces a "Give and Take" Box for the Community

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Craigie Primary School, in Perth, which organised and decorated a "Give and Take" box to give support to those who are affected by the ongoing cost of living crisis; notes that this project was undertaken by pupils in P2/3 and P5, with the help of class teachers; recognises the help of MKM Perth and Perth’s Men’s Shed, which provided materials and work skills; understands that the box is filled with non-perishable items, donated by the local community, and commends the pupils, teachers and community for providing an exchange of food and essential goods that are of benefit to those who need assistance, and for strengthening community spirt and bringing people together.
