Kanzen Karate Host 2023 World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF) World Karate Championships

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the significant accolade that Kanzen Karate is hosting the 2023 World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF) World Karate Championships for all ages, for the second time in Dundee; commends Kanzen Karate, which it considers to be opening up to the world, for what will be a spectacular showcase for the community, and the largest indoor sporting event in the history of the city; highly commends Kanzen Karate for again featuring disability inclusion in the programme of events; acknowledges that this will lend great inspiration for both the disabled community and disabled participants alike, and wishes all involved in the World Karate Championships, including WUKF and Kanzen Karate, every success with this major event.
