PALS Receives National Lottery Funding to Help Tackle Loneliness and Isolation

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates PALS on receiving £4,580 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the group will be conducting a monthly meeting, along with day trips for older residents across Motherwell and Wishaw to help tackle isolation; welcomes the Scottish Government's plan to deliver the strategy, A Connected Scotland, to tackle social isolation and loneliness and to build stronger social connections; thanks the National Lottery Community Fund and PALS for the continued work in the community, and wishes them all the best for the future.
