Bruce Cardno Receives a Scottish EDGE Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bruce Cardno, who received a Scottish EDGE Award of £100,000 to develop his business Clearwell Technology Ltd, which will be based in Aberdeenshire West; recognises that Clearwell Technology Ltd is developing unique exothermic milling systems, which aim to transform offshore decommissioning, focusing on time, cost and greenhouse gas emission reductions; understands that Scottish EDGE is the largest funding competition in the country, providing support to Scotland’s up-and-coming, innovative entrepreneurial talent; commends Bruce Cardno for this achievement, and wishes him every success in the future with his business.
