National Treatment Centre in Inverness
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the new National Treatment Centre, in Inverness, by the First Minister; congratulates NHS Highland on the successful delivery of this project, and all those in the construction sector who completed this new facility; notes that it will provide sufficient capacity to treat 1,500 orthopaedic cases and ophthalmology cases per year; further notes the message of "kindness and compassion" and sends thanks to the staff who it considers provide excellent care for patients, and believes that this will deliver a major improvement to the health services in the Highlands.
