Congratulating St Bride's Centre Motherwell on Receiving National Lottery Community Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates St Bride's Centre, in Motherwell, on receiving a £9,900 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the centre is based in Motherwell, providing a community facility used by many, including the Motherwell Soup Kitchen; understands that the funding will help to build a new accessible entrance, making the centre more inclusive to all; welcomes what it sees as the Scottish Government's commitment to promoting and protecting equality and human rights for disabled people; thanks the National Lottery Community Fund, St Bride's volunteers and staff for their commitment, and wishes them all the best in the future.
