Grangemouth Children's Day 2023
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Grangemouth Children’s Day 2023; understands that this is an annual community event, which has been celebrated since 1906, and has been a key participatory community event every year since, with the exception of the war years and COVID-19 pandemic years; notes that the 2023 Grangemouth Children’s Day will be held on 17 June with a full line-up of activities planned with entertainment for all ages, including the planned procession throughout the town; celebrates what is seen as an important event to the Grangemouth community, and which encourages community involvement; congratulates all those involved in Grangemouth Children’s Day 2023, and wishes all the children and organisers well for the event.
