Cllr John Stuart Wins Public Services Award at the 2023 Proud Scotland Awards
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the tireless work of Cllr John Stuart in the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion, both in his role as councillor of Buckie ward, in Moray, and as a volunteer in his local community; congratulates Cllr Stuart on winning the Public Services Award at the 2023 Proud Scotland Awards; notes that the Public Services Award recognises the actions of an individual or group as part of a public body, or the body itself, in support and development of the LGBTQI+ community, and wishes Cllr Stuart all the best in all his future endeavours.
