Kelso Hosts Inspire Learning Festival

The motion

That the Parliament notes the success of 2023’s Scottish Borders Inspire Learning Festival, a three-day event in the heart of Kelso for local primary school children; understands that 2,400 young people from across the region attended the event to take part in an exciting series of learning activities focused on science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM); notes that the three-day festival demonstrated how technology can be used effectively in education to enhance learning; notes the role of this festival in engaging young people in the world of STEM; further notes the importance of STEM subjects in education for young people, and wishes the programme continued success in the future.
