Aberdeenshire West Groups Receive Grants from National Lottery Community Fund

The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the success of two Aberdeenshire West groups on receiving funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funds awarded include a £8,700 grant for Ballater Victoria Week, and that the group will deliver its annual Victoria Week between 5 and 13 August 2023, hosting a wide variety of family events and activities surrounding the Ballater Highland Games; further understands that the Glass Community Association was awarded a £9,750 grant, and that the group will replace electric heaters, among other improvements; notes that these funds are contributed by the National Lottery Community Fund to help communities thrive, and wishes these organisations all the best for the future.
