Bankhead Primary P6 Pupils Reach 2023 Euroquiz Finals

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates P6 pupils from Bankhead Primary School on reaching the final of the Scottish European Educational Trust’s (SEET) 2023 Euroquiz Final; notes that the Bankhead pupils participated alongside over 3,000 pupils from 550 schools in this year’s competition to reach the final as representatives of South Lanarkshire; understands that the final event took place in McEwan Hall, at the University of Edinburgh, on 13 June, with 32 teams of P6 pupils from across Scotland working together in teams of four; celebrates the commitment of SEET to promoting international education and language learning among children and young people in Scotland, to broaden their knowledge of Scotland’s European partners and the wider world; recognises the hours of preparation undertaken by Bankhead teachers, students, and their caregivers ahead of the final, and wishes all the young competitors the very best for the future.
