15th Anniversary of Sistema Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the 15th anniversary of Sistema Scotland; acknowledges what it sees as the significant achievements of the charity since its establishment in 2008; understands that Sistema Scotland has been dedicated to improving the lives of young people through its six Big Noise programmes in Raploch, Fallin, Govanhill, Torry, Douglas, and Wester Hailes, currently working with around 3,500 children and young people; considers that, over the past 15 years, Sistema Scotland has transformed outcomes and aspirations of children in some of Scotland’s most disadvantaged areas; congratulates Sistema on its birthday celebration concert, which took place in the Scottish Parliament on 13 June 2023, and further congratulates the amazing children and young people of each of the six Big Noise programmes, who performed at the birthday celebrations and showcased their incredible talents.
